Inviting your Teammates to your Workspace
Collaborating with your team on user research projects is essential for gathering diverse insights and perspectives. Crowds makes it easy to invite teammates to your workspace with different permission levels based on their role in your research process.
How to Invite Team Members
Step 1: Access Your Dashboard Settings

Log into your Crowd account on your main dashboard

Look for the three dots (⋯) at the bottom left corner of your screen

Click on the three dots to open the settings menu
Step 2: Navigate to Invite Colleagues

From the menu that appears, click on "Invite Colleagues"

This will open your Team management section
Step 2: Send Invitations

Click the "Invite team member" button
-
Enter your teammate's email address
-
Select their role (Editor or Viewer)
-
Send the invitation
Your teammates will receive an email invitation to join your workspace with the permissions you have assigned.

👑 Owner (You) - Full Control
What Owners Can Do:

Complete workspace control - modify, delete, or configure any aspect

Manage all team members - invite, remove, and change user roles

Delete entire workspace - ultimate authority over workspace lifecycle

Access all content - view all observations, feedback, and research data

Billing management - handle subscription and payment settings

What Editors Can Do:

Modify workspace content - edit research studies, surveys, and tests

Add observations and feedback - contribute insights to research projects

Send email invitations - invite new participants to studies

Access most features - use majority of Crowds tools and functionality
What Editors Cannot Do:

Delete the entire workspace

Change billing settings

Remove the workspace owner

What Viewers Can Do:

View all workspace content - see research studies, results, and data

Provide observations - add comments and feedback on research findings

Participate in discussions - engage with team insights and findings
What Viewers Cannot Do:

Modify or edit workspace content

Invite other team members

Managing Your Team
Viewing Team Members
In your Team settings, you can:

See all team members with their roles and last activity

Filter by role using the "All members" dropdown to view Owners, Editors, or Viewers

Search team members using the search bar
-
Monitor team activity to see who's actively using the workspace
Changing User Roles
As a workspace owner, you can easily change teammate roles:

Go to your Team settings

Find the team member you want to modify

Click on their current role
-
Select their new role (Editor or Viewer)

Changes take effect immediately
Managing Pending Invitations
Keep track of team invitations in the "Pending invites" tab to see:

Who has not accepted their invitation yet

When invitations were sent

Option to resend or cancel pending invitations
