Keyboard shortcuts for Vinci Work and Vinci Code

Use these keyboard shortcuts to navigate Vinci Work (desktop) faster, on Mac (Cmd) and Windows/Linux (Ctrl). Vinci Code has its own shortcuts — see the end of this article. Settings and the command palette - Cmd/Ctrl+, — Open Settings, the fastest way in - Cmd/Ctrl+K — Open command palette - Keeps you in flow without reaching for the mouse Session and workspace navigation - Cmd/Ctrl+N — New session - Cmd/Ctrl+T — Next session tab - Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+T — Previous session tab - Cmd/Ctrl+1 through 9 — Jump to workspace by sidebar order (1 is the first, 9 is the ninth) - Cmd+[ and Cmd+] on Mac, Alt+Left and Alt+Right on Windows and Linux — Back to the previous surface and forward again Search and find - Cmd/Ctrl+F — Find text in the current conversation - Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+F — Search across every session Panels and layout - Cmd/Ctrl+B — Toggle the sidebar - Cmd/Ctrl+J — Toggle terminal panel (hides/shows the output panel) Tips for faster navigation 1. Use Cmd/Ctrl+K to get around — It's faster than menus, and it reaches a few places the Settings menu doesn't: search for "updates" or "recovery" to open those screens. 2. Keyboard shortcuts for workspaces — If you have 3 workspaces, Cmd/Ctrl+1, Cmd/Ctrl+2, Cmd/Ctrl+3 switch between them instantly 3. How to access settings in Vinci Work

Vinci Work keeps its settings in one menu, and a handful of keyboard shortcuts get you around the app quickly. Opening Settings Press Cmd+, (Mac) or Ctrl+, (Windows/Linux). This is the fastest way in. You can also click Settings, the item with the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar. What's in Settings Settings opens on General. Use the menu to move between sections: - General — where Settings opens: an overview linking to Permissions, Notifications and Appearance, plus Send feedback, Contact support and Report an issue - Permissions — your approval mode, which decides when Vinci pauses to ask before it runs a tool - Notifications — whether Vinci Work sends you desktop notifications - Skills — create and manage reusable instructions for the workspace folder you're working in; these stay on your computer and are separate from the skills in your Vinci account on the web and mobile - Appearance — theme (light/dark/system), language, and an option to hide the title bar Choosing your model AI Providers is where you pick the model Vinci Work uses. You do not need the Settings menu to get there: click the model badge in the composer, or press Cmd/Ctrl+K and choose Switch model. Both open the same screen. Updates and Recovery Two more screens live in the command palette rather than the Settings menu.
