Understanding Applicants vs. Recommendations

When you publish a vacancy on Myn, candidates are drawn to the role through external job board advertising and the recommendation process. Here’s the key distinction between Applicants and Recommendations:

Applicants

  • Who They Are: Candidates who have actively applied to your role.

  • Where to Find Them:

    • Within the specific vacancy’s application list.

    • In the Applications Tab on the left sidebar, which shows all applications across all vacancies.

Recommendations

  • Who They Are: Candidates identified by Myn as a great fit for your role but who haven’t applied yet.

  • Where to Find Them: The Vacancy Dashboard for the specific role.

What Are Recommendations?

When you publish a vacancy, Myn identifies candidates from your Talent Pools who match the job’s skill set, rate, location, and right-to-work requirements.

  • How It Works:

    1. A curated list of potential candidates is presented, these are your matches.

    2. You can review and send recommendation emails, inviting these candidates to apply.

    3. Notifications are sent to relevant candidates, encouraging them to apply to the role.

By understanding and leveraging both Applicants and Recommendations, you can streamline the hiring process and attract the best talent to your vacancies.
