Setting up my profile

When submitting your initial application to a job posted by Myn, it is necessary to create a Profile. This Profile will be generated based on the information provided in your resume and will showcase your experience, highlighting all relevant skills to ensure that you receive the most suitable recommendations for your desired position. Maintaining and updating your Profile regularly is crucial in enhancing your ranking within any candidate list. How to set up a Profile when making an application - Click the ‘Apply’ button on the advert. - Fill in your name, email, set your password and accept the terms & privacy policy. - Once you have filled in the required information, click apply. - You will then be brought to your account asking you to verify your email. - A code will have been emailed to you on application - fill this in here and verify your email. - You will then be asked to upload your resume. - Once you’ve uploaded your resume, you will then be asked about your right to work in the country the job is based in. - Finally, click ‘submit now’ and your application has been fully submitted. The tasks section you will see on the application information page will let you know if you have anything further you can do to help improve your application. As shown in the image below you have the option of clarifying skills on your application. Setting up your profile before an application - Go to the registration page by clicking here. - Enter your name and email address, and set a secure password. - Carefully read and accept the Terms and Conditions then click on ‘Create account’. - A code will have been emailed to you to verify your email - enter that at this point in the registration process. - Once verified, you will be asked to upload your resume or CV to showcase your experience and qualifications. - After your resume is uploaded we would suggest navigating to the ‘view account’ option in the bottom left of the screen. Here you will be able to set your preferred location, rates and your right to work. - Filling out all this information will allow our system to send you more accurate job recommendations with your preferred rate, location, etc.

Changing my contact details

To update your contact information, navigate to the Contact Details option in the left-side menu. From there, you will be presented with a new menu where you can edit your Name, Email and Telephone number. To modify a specific section, click on the relevant option. After making the necessary changes, remember to click Save located to the right of the screen for the updates to take effect. In case you are adding a new phone number, please ensure that the correct country code has been selected before clicking on Verify. After clicking Verify, a verification code will be sent to your phone number. Enter this code within the box provided and click save to complete the verification process. Verifying my phone number

To verify or change your phone number: 1. Open the app and go to your account settings. 2. Click on the "Contact Details" section, then click the pencil on the telephone number section 3. Now click 'add number' where you will be asked to select which country the number is based in. 4. Enter your phone number and click "Save". 5. You will receive a verification code via text message to your phone number. 6. Enter the verification code in the app to complete the process. Setting my availability

In your profile, you can specify your availability to commence work and select your current status to indicate whether you are actively seeking employment or not. If you choose the "Not Looking" option, you will not receive any recommendation emails. To update your availability and status, follow these steps: 1. Click on the ‘Account’ button on the left side bar. 2. Then on the 'Availability' section located on the next menu. 3. Here you can change your status to "Not Looking," "Passively Looking," or "Actively Looking." 4. You can also adjust your availability by selecting from the following options: "Available immediately," "Available from," or "Available after my notice period." 5. If you select the "Available from" option, you can choose a specific date for when you will be available. 6. If you choose the "Available after my notice period" option, you can specify your notice period in terms of the number of weeks. 7. Click on the Save button to update your changes. By keeping your profile updated with your availability and status, you can ensure that your job recommendations and notifications are tailored to your current job search preferences.

Changing or adding my desired rates

To set your rates on your account, follow these steps: 1. Click on the "Rate" option in the account tab. 2. Set your rate frequency to either "Hourly", "Daily", or "Annually". 3. Choose your currency by selecting your location. 4. Enter your minimum and desired rates. 5. Click "Save" at the bottom-right.

Resetting my password

Please note that before starting any of the steps on this page we would ask that you first clear your cache and cookies from your browser as these often times cause issues with login and password reset. - Myn does not require your password to login, if you enter your email address and click ‘Login’ we will send you a unique login link directly to your email. If for any reason the passwordless link mentioned above does not work, you can still reset your password by following the steps below: 1. Go to the Login page by clicking here. 2. At the bottom of the page, you will find a "Forgot your password" button. Click on it. 3. Here you can enter your email address and a reset password email will be sent to you. 4. Reset your password to a secure and memorable one. 5. Note that the reset link is valid for one-time use only. If you encounter any issues while resetting your password, please repeat the above steps. Update Your Password From Profile Page If you are already logged into your Myn account, you can change your password by following these steps: 1. Click on the "Account" tab located on the left-hand side menu bar of your profile page. 2. From here you will need to navigate to the ‘Security’ tab and then choose the password reset option. 3. You will be prompted to enter your current password, followed by your new password, and confirm the new password again. 4. Click on the "Update Password" button to apply and save your changes.

Deleting my account

If you wis h to delete your account, please contact our support team at support@elevatedirect.com or support@myn.co.uk. Upon receiving your request, we will set your account for deletion from our platform. Please keep in mind that it may take up to 24 hours for our system to completely erase all of your data. We are sorry to see you go and hope to have the opportunity to work with you again in the future.

How To Leave A Talent Pool

Should you want to view or leave a Talent Pool, it can be done very easily on your account. Just follow these steps: 1. Click on the button located at the bottom left of your account to access 'Your Account.' 2. Once you're in the 'Account' section, you'll see an overview of your account details. 3. Look for the tab labeled 'Talent Pools' in the list of options. 4. Click on the 'Talent Pools' tab, and you'll see a list of all the Talent Pools you're currently a member of. 5. If you want to leave a particular Talent Pool, simply click on the 'leave talent pool' option next to it and confirm ‘yes’ if you are sure you want to leave. By doing this, you will be removed from that specific talent pool, and you won't receive any more job recommendations or notifications related to that Talent Pool. Joining A Talent Pool

Being in a Talent Pool will suggest you for jobs that match your skills and experience that you've shared in your profile. You can be part of many of these Talent Pools for different companies. If you join the Open Market, you might even get suggestions for jobs from companies you hadn't thought about before. When you're invited to join a Talent Pool, you'll get an email. Just click the 'Join Now' button in the email to become a member. And if you already have a profile, then you're all set once you join the Talent Pool. Uploading CV

Uploading a CV to our platform is a quick and simple process. If you applied to a job from a job board your CV has more than likely already been uploaded. However if you are applying to a vacancy for the first time, or are just after registering and skipped the CV upload step in the sign-up process, or simply want to upload your latest CV these are the steps to doing so. From the dashboard, navigate to the 'resumes' tab on the top of the page as shown in the gif below. Click the upload button and you can either drag and drop your latest CV into the box, or clicking browse you can navigate your files directly. Once the CV is selected click the 'upload file' button and the CV will be uploaded and processed by out system.

Stop Recommendation emails

Myn will promptly notify you via email regarding any available positions that align with your skill set. These notifications afford you the opportunity to review the vacancy details and submit your application accordingly. However, should you not be in pursuit of employment at the present time, you have the option to cease receiving these notifications. You have the flexibility to indicate your employment status as actively seeking, passively exploring opportunities, or not seeking employment altogether. By selecting "Not Looking," you will also discontinue receipt of recommendation emails. To opt out of receiving recommendation emails: 1. Log in to your account here. 2. Navigate to the Account section located in the bottom left 3. Once on the account list, then navigate to the 'Availability' section. 4. Now clicking on the edit pencil, you will be brought to a new menu to select which option you would like to update.

Add A New Section of Work Experience

To add a new piece of experience: - Navigate to the dashboard tab on the left, and click on the ‘Work Experience’ tab at the top of the page. Here you will be able to see all your uploaded experience on your profile. - To add a new section to your work experience, click the ‘Add’ button on the right-hand side of the page and fill in the work experience data. - Once you're happy with this section just click save and this will now appear on your profile.

Deleting A Section of Work Experience

1. Go to the Dashboard tab on the left-hand side of the screen and select the Work Experience section at the top of the page. Here you can see all your uploaded experience on your profile. 2. Navigate to the section you want to delete under the Work Experience section and click on it. 3. You can do this by either scrolling through all your work experience, or clicking on the relevant section on the right side of the page. 4. Underneath you will now see a red delete button - clicking this will bring you to a page to confirm if you want to delete. 5. Clicking yes you will now see this section removed from your profile and a success message will appear in the bottom right of the page.
