Welcome to Suplery! You can start using **Inventory** and **External orders** the moment you sign up. To buy from suppliers on the marketplace, there's one quick step first: verifying your business. Suplery is a marketplace for professionals, so brands need to know you're a real, licensed beauty business before they sell to you. The good news — when your details are in order, verification usually takes **under 5 minutes**, and your progress saves automatically as you go. ## Create your account Sign up on Suplery with your **email** and a **password**. That's your personal login: you'll use it to verify and run this business, and the same login works for any other businesses you join later. 💬 **Already use Suplery for another business?** Sign in with the same email and password. When you're asked whether to **create** a new business or **log in**, choose **Create**. See [Your account & your businesses](https://app.chatwoot.com/hc/for-beauty-businesses/articles/16003509-4-your-account-your-businesses). ## What you can do right away Even before you're verified, you can: - **Inventory** — add products, adjust stock, and run stocktakes. - **External orders** — record purchases you make outside Suplery so your stock stays accurate. The first time you open **Inventory** or **Orders**, a short guided tour walks you through the basics. You'll know your account isn't verified yet when product cards show an **Unlock wholesale price** button instead of **Add to cart**. Completing the steps below unlocks wholesale buying, supplier connections, and Suplery orders. ## Step 1: Verify your email Confirming your email activates your account and makes sure you receive order and verification updates. We send a confirmation email right after you sign up — open it and click the link. That's it. 💬 **Didn't get the confirmation email?** Check your spam folder first. If it's still not there, click **Resend confirmation link** on the Setup page and we'll send a new one. ## Step 2: Open the setup form There are two ways to start: - Click **Unlock wholesale price** on any product, or - Open the **Setup** tab in the navigation bar. 💡 Your answers save automatically — you'll see **"Data has been saved"** as you go. Close the page and come back anytime without losing your progress. ## Step 3: Fill in your business details First, choose your **Business type**. The form then shows only what your kind of business needs: - **Beauty business** — a company that provides beauty services (salon, spa, barbershop, and so on). - **Licensed professional** — an individual licensed professional. ## Your details Everyone fills in: - **Company name** — the name suppliers will see. This is your display name on orders and connection requests. If you chose **Beauty business**, you'll also add: - **Legal name** — your officially registered business name. It must match your U.S. government records. - **EIN** — your business's nine-digit federal tax ID from the IRS, entered as 00-0000000. ## Your licenses and certificate For each license or certificate, you only **upload a photo or file** — Suplery reads the details (state, number, and dates) for you. There's nothing else to type. - **Professional license** — required to buy on Suplery. A valid one unlocks the whole catalog, not just professional-only products. *(Beauty business and Licensed professional.)* - **Business license** — confirms you're a real beauty business. *(Beauty business only.)* - **Exemption certificate** *(optional)* — if your business is tax-exempt on products you resell, add it so you're not charged sales tax on eligible items. ⚠️ To be verified, you'll need at least one valid license — a **business license** if you're a beauty business, or a **professional license** if you're a licensed professional. 💬 **Can I add more than one professional license?** Yes — add one for each licensed professional. You can manage them later in **Settings**; see [Account & settings](https://app.chatwoot.com/hc/for-beauty-businesses/articles/16002712-2-account-settings). 💬 **Do I have to add an exemption certificate now?** No. You can skip it and add it anytime later in **Settings**. If everything's filled in correctly, you're usually **verified in under 5 minutes** — wholesale prices unlock and you can start buying right away. If your application needs a closer look, you'll see an **Under review** message. We may need a little more information, and we'll get in touch **within 2 business days**. 💬 **Need to change something while you wait?** Click **Check sent data**, make your edits, and click **Update data**. ## What the result means **You're verified.** The **Setup** tab disappears and the full marketplace opens up. Head to the Shop and place your first order (see [Order from the Shop](https://app.chatwoot.com/hc/for-beauty-businesses/articles/16036508-11-order-from-the-shop)). From now on, you update your company details in **Settings**(see [Account & settings](https://app.chatwoot.com/hc/for-beauty-businesses/articles/16002712-2-account-settings)). ⚠️ **Your verification was declined.** This is common and easy to fix. You'll get a message explaining exactly what to correct — for example, an EIN that didn't match government records. Update the details and click **Resubmit application**. While your application is declined, you can keep using **Inventory** and **External orders** — you just can't buy from the Shop until it's sorted out. 🚫 **Your account is blocked.** When an account is blocked, everyone on it loses access. To make any changes to your data, please contact support. ## FAQ 💬 **Can I start buying before I'm verified?** Not yet — wholesale prices unlock only after your business is verified. But you don't have to wait to get started: **Inventory** and **External orders** work the moment you sign up. 💬 **I'm a solo licensed professional without an EIN — what do I enter?** Choose **Licensed professional**as your business type. That path doesn't ask for a Legal name or EIN — you verify with your **professional license** instead. 💬 **My license is from a different state — can I still verify?** Yes. Upload the license you hold; Suplery reads the state and dates from it. Open the decline message to see exactly what to correct, update your EIN so it matches your IRS records (entered as 00-0000000), and click **Resubmit application**. 💬 **Can Suplery block my account?** Yes, in cases of serious violations of our Terms of Use.
